Trip to Oxford

We went to the city on Wednesday the 13^th of July. The summer is a good time to visit the city because it’s not cold.

Oxford is a city in the South East region of England. We went to Oxford in vans, because the city is well connected by road to Reading

First we visited Oxford University – one of the oldest schools in central Europe.

Then we went to Carfax Tower, the ancient tower of the city. In the past the towerwas a bell tower in the church. Today the tower is in the centre of the village.

Finally we went to a shop and bought many souvenirs and gifts.

We thought the trip very interesting and very beautiful because we visited some of the rooms where “Harry Potter” was filmed.

We can’t wait to return to the city.
